Speedster given bail

A MAN accused of driving more than 150km/h on the M1 at Mudgeeraba has been granted bailed.

Jack Alexander McPherson, 25, was placed on a probation order at the end of February for another matter, Southport Magistrates Court was told. McPherson wore a hospital smock and had a large white bandage on his forehead when he faced court yesterday.

He has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, obstructing police, possessing utensil relating to drugs and having false registration plates.
