Charges over jewellery theft
A MAN has been charged with stealing after a brazen theft at a boutique store in Byron Bay.
On March 23 at 2.05pm, a man and woman were observed browsing the Island Luxe Tribe store on Marvel Street for a long period of time.
The store manager became suspicious and the male left with five items of jewellery, worth $2216, by bicycle.
Police later charged him with stealing.
