Scott-Young free to play

-

QUEENSLAND flanker Angus Scott-Young is free to face the Rebels on Saturday after escaping suspension for foul play.

There were fears the 21year-old was facing an extended stint on the sideline after he was cited for striking Brumbies prop James Slipper with a closed fist at a stoppage last weekend.

But last night’s judicial hearing determined that Scott-Young was making a “legitimate, albeit clumsy, attempt to clean out his opponent”.
