Star to sell off guitars

PINK Floyd star David Gilmour’s collection of 120 guitars is set to go under the hammer, including one with a Juicy Fruit wrapper inside.

The guitarist is auctioning off his enormous personal collection for charity, saying it is a “wrench” to let them go.

Fellow musicians are thought to have expressed an interest. It is estimated the collection will fetch more than $1.4 million during the sale in New York. A 1969 black Fender Stratocaster, used on tracks Money, Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Comfortably Numb, is one of the biggest gems.
