Sharks to test Apollo

SURFERS Paradise’s red-hot form will face another test when they travel to Palm Beach in Round 4 of the Gold Coast Premier League tonight.

Coming off a 9-1 thrashing of Brisbane Knights in the FFA Cup, Apollo will chase a third Premier League win in as many games at Duncan McKenna Field from 8.30pm. The visitors edged out Nerang 3-2 in the season opener before thrashing Tweed United 8-1.

While the Sharks are 0-2, they have been competitive in losses to Burleigh Heads and Coomera, and progressed to the FFA Cup fourth round with a 3-1 win over Caloundra.
