Suggest strongly, before handing over 1 of the new 50 notes, that you check it 3 times to ensure it doesn’t have 1 or 2 other 50s FIRMLY attached! Discovered only when counting 1,000 withdrawn 10 mins before (for builder) and only 900 there! Counted again, found 2 stuck but was still missing 50! Scrutinised EVERY single note again and was totally gobsmacked (AND LUCKY) to find 2 notes so firmly attached to each other, that no-one would’ve ever noticed!

Can’t wait for the coalition to remain in power so I can get my 0.20 a Week tax cut. How embarrassing and how much was your pay rise ScoMo? Just saying. So out of touch. AS.

Some people will never have low electricity bills. We have neighbours who leave inside lights on. Pensioners have as little on as possible and turn things off at wall. You can cut back on power if you are a bit vigilant - do not leave things on if you are not using them. L
