Rain of goals

BURLEIGH have claimed their first win of the local Hockey league division 1 women’s season in style with a 12-0 thrashing of Mudgeeraba thanks to four goals each to Keely Murray and Ruby Harris.

The Roosters won 8-0 over Capri. In the men’s, Kingscliff beat the Roosters, Labrador defeated Mudgeeraba and Casuarina and Burleigh finished on three goals a piece. In the Brisbane Hockey League, Labrador beat Kedron Wavell 6-4.
