KEEP an eye out at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary this weekend – you might just see a monster roaming about.

This week the sanctuary is launching “The Gruffalo Trail” experience via a new augmented reality app, just in time for the school holidays.

The sanctuary’s general manager, Michael Kelly, said the iconic character would be arriving in an Australian-first, utilising AR technology in a natural environment.

“The initiative sees us combining state-of-the-art technology with nature, keeping the kids active and entertained at the same time,” he said.

“We hope that families with young children will enjoy visiting the sanctuary for an exciting adventure like no other, and one they can only experience here on the Gold Coast.”
