WRAN PLEADS GUILTY TO ‘ICE’ CHARGE

THE daughter of former NSW premier Neville Wran has admitted possessing the drug “ice” less than three years after being released from prison.

Harriet Wran, 30, appeared before Wyong Local Court yesterday to plead guilty to possessing drugs, goods in custody and not displaying Pplates.

Wran was pulled over at a Central Coast service station at North Wyong just after 1.30am on February 27.

A male passenger fled as officers approached the car and is yet to be found. According to court documents, officers found 0.96g of ice in the car, as well as 32 stolen items.

Wran’s bail was continued, on condition she live at the family’s farm at Ravensdale and complies with a curfew.

She is due back at Wyong Court on May 15.
