FIVE PLAYERS TO WATCH AT GC CELEBRITY PRO-AM

LAKELANDS GOLF CLUB, TODAY

Deyen Lawson

The Gold Coast-based Victorian, who plays on the European tour, is in good form with a second-place finish at the Queensland PGA Championship in February. Lawson is known for his composure and skill on-course.

Daniel Nisbet

He’s fresh off a Queensland PGA Championship win. The Queenslander has returned from a stint overseas on the Asian tour. With three wins to his name in just over 12 months, Nisbet is likely to be a standout on course.

Daniel Gale

At 22, Gale is one of the younger players in the field this week but he packs a punch on the golf course. The New South Welshman is a proven winner on the PGA Tour of Australasia so rivals should not let his age deceive them.

Brett Rankin

The reigning GC Pro-Am Champion is back for more. Rankin has maintained some good form over the past 12 months, topped by a strong performance at the recent New Zealand PGA Championship in trying conditions.

Marcus Fraser

Without the pressure of playing full-time golf this year, the Rio Olympian is out to simply enjoy himself on tour and so far it has shown. The Victorian has played some of his best golf on the European Tour over the past few months.
