D’Agostino on bench

AUSTRALIAN under-23 rep Nick D’Agostino again has to be content with a spot on Brisbane’s bench for the A-League clash at AAMI Park tonight.

On a high after starring for the Olyroos in AFC under-23 championships qualifiers in Cambodia, D’Agostino had an impact last Friday against Sydney FC at Suncorp Stadium.

Entering the contest in the second half, D’Agostino set up the Roar’s only goal for Eric Bautheac in Brisbane’s 3-1 loss.

However his late cameo didn’t convince interim coach Darren Davies to give him a start against Melbourne City.
