Charges in gun death

POLICE have charged a man with murdering a soccer player at a Sydney unit block after the alleged gunman turned up at a hospital with a bullet in his stomach.

John Odisho, 25, was shot about 3.45am on Tuesday and later died in hospital.

Another man was shot in the shoulder and has since been released from hospital.

A 28-year-old man arrived at Auburn hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach about 15 minutes after the initial attack. Police yesterday charged him with murder. He is under guard in hospital.
