GREENS REVEALED

PERENNIAL candidate Sally Spain has been preselected by the Greens to contest the seat of Moncrieff.

Ms Spain, a retired teacher, has been a leading environmental figure on the Gold Coast for decades and most recently led the fight to try to save Bundall’s Black Swan Lake.

Ms Spain is one of three Greens candidates selected to run in Coast seats at the May election.

Community volunteer and admin worker Scott Turner will contest Fadden, currently held by the LNP’s Stuart Robert, and software developer Alan Quinn will take on Science Minister Karen Andrews in McPherson.
