Tigerstix take out third spot

LABRADOR Tigerstix have moved up to third position on the Brisbane Hockey League ladder after a 7-0 win over Valley at Mary Nairn Field.

In the local league, Kingscliff’s division one mens side comprehensively won last years’ preliminary final rematch against Burleigh 7-0.

Labrador easily accounted for Capri (7-1) and the Roosters defeated Mudgeeraba 1-0.

In the women’s competition, Burleigh smashed Capri 8-2 and Labrador beat Mudgeeraba 3-1.
