Plenty of work is only footy cure

-

TITANS coach Garth Brennan has vowed to deliver a week of hard work after a “pretty ordinary” loss to the Warriors.

Gold Coast’s fourth straight loss of the season on Friday night, a 26-10 defeat at Mt Smart Stadium, was littered by simple mistakes and a poor completion rate.

“The error rate killed us,” Brennan said after the match.

“You’re not going to win too many games (if you keep dropping the ball).

“We knew we needed to complete (our sets). We didn’t do that and we paid the penalty.

“Our attack wasn’t where it needed to be; we went sideways too much.

“We weren’t mentally tough enough to stay in the fight.”

As for the answer, Brennan is keeping things simple.

“We have made it hard for ourselves (being 0-4),” he said.

“But we’re not giving up and we have to keep working hard.

“They say the harder you work the luckier you are so we’re going to be very lucky (based on) how hard we’re going to work.”
