New clinic offers IVF aid for less

-

HOPEFUL parents will have a chance to receive IVF treatment closer to home with the opening of a low-cost fertility clinic at Robina.

Located within the Primary Medical Centre Robina, Adora Fertility has launched its satellite clinic this month for consultations and less intensive procedures.

The new clinic aims to help those seeking treatment from Northern NSW cut down on major travel costs.

“For many Australians, the cost of fertility treatment can be a major barrier to starting a family,” Dr Paul Atkinson, national medical director of Adora Fertility told the Bulletin.

“We are expanding our service to the Gold Coast to provide a more convenient location to help meet the growing demand for affordable high-quality fertility treatments in this area,” Dr Atkinson said.

Since opening its first clinic in 2014, Adora Fertility has helped more than 3000 couples start a family.

“We do not subscribe to any simplified or standardised approach to IVF treatment as a way of reducing costs. Adora’s individualised approach to low-cost IVF treatment, backed by quality embryology labs, has helped make a high standard of fertility care more accessible,” Dr Atkinson added.

Adora Fertility bulk bills all Medicare-eligible expenses such as consultations, blood tests, fertility tests, ultrasound scans and fertility procedures.
