McKEON’S IN MEDALS
GOLD Coast Olympian Emma McKeon keeps adding to her silverware, claiming a thrilling national women’s 100m butterfly crown.
The Griffith University swimmer held off a fastfinishing Brianna Throssell (UWA West Coast) at the national titles in Adelaide on Monday night.
Throssell (57.52) pushed McKeon (56.85) all the way, while TSS Aquatics’ Alice Stuart (59.97) was third.
Last night, McKeon (1:56.00) was second in the 200m freestyle to 18-yearold Queenslander Ariarne Titmus, who broke the Commonwealth record with a brilliant swim of 1:54.30.
