No Brexit end in sight
EUROPEAN Union leaders will grant a second Brexit delay but could demand a longer extension, as France pushes to limit Britain’s ability to undermine the bloc.
Prime Minister Theresa May dashed to Berlin and Paris to ask Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron to allow Britain to put off its divorce from April 12 to June 30.
It was not immediately clear what Europe’s two most powerful leaders agreed to, but an advance draft of conclusions ahead of the EU summit left the end date blank.
