Amsterdam’s train I traveled on 25 years ago was futuristic compared to our current Bombay Express to Brisbane. How about you focus on fixing the M1 and getting a proper public transport system happening (not trams with no parking stations for commuters!), and then we can look at electric cars.

Labor has yet to be elected, but already we see massive disruption on the streets, and judicially approved violence (i.e. limp wristed penalties) against farmers and shopkeepers.
