TRIBUTE TO FALLEN THRONES STARS

- HOLLY BYRNES AND JONATHAN MORAN airs 11am and 8.30pm, Monday, on Foxtel’s Fox Showcase

IT’S the quick and the dead – with Foxtel celebrating Game Of Thrones’ brutal reputation for killing off its characters by staging a spooky pop-up cemetery for fans to visit in Sydney’s Centennial Parklands today.

Just days before the final season begins to air from Monday, ‘Grave of Thrones’ will allow fans to pay homage to some of their most loved characters and the biggest ‘kills’ over seven seasons of the epic HBO fantasy thriller by visiting artfully crafted mausoleums and 34 tombstones dedicated to key figures – including Joffrey Lannister, Ramsay Bolton, Khal Drogo, Tywin Lannister, Littlefinger and Olenna Tyrell.

The final resting place spans more than 2000sq m and will remain on public display until Sunday, April 14, giving fans the chance to visit with the “dead” before a fresh crop of characters is likely to join them in the final battle for the Iron Throne.
