RUSSELL READIES FOR RELAUNCH

AS a V8 driver Russell Ingall (pictured with wife Jules) was known as The Enforcer. His move into broadcasting did nothing to quell that competitive spirit and his race commentary carried that same ethos. This year he lost his gig on Fox Sports and a host of devoted fans have been calling for his return. At the Porsche function we asked if anything was planned. “I do have something in the pipeline and we are shooting a pilot,” he said. “I am a firm believer that all sport lovers like to hear someone tell it like it is. They may not agree but it gets a conversation going which makes for much better broadcasting. Being out of that bubble has given me more of a fan’s perspective so I’m hopeful that this new venture will really take off.” Get ready.
