Tourist to face court
A FRENCH tourist is due to appear in court after allegedly blowing twice the legal limit during a random breath test.
On April 7, Tweed police say they pulled over the man on Beach Ave, South Golden Beach, north of Byron Bay.
The driver was subjected to a random breath test and they say he blew over the legal limit.
The 24-year-old allegedly registered 0.096, after allegedly admitting to drinking several beers.
He is due to appear on May 27 in the Mullumbimby Local Court.
