Cyclist on drug count
A MAN who was seen riding a bicycle without a helmet and speaking on a mobile phone was then allegedly found to have drugs, police say.
About 1.50am on April 9 police patrolling in Chinderah stopped a 30-year-old cyclist they said was not wearing a helmet and was speaking on a mobile phone.
After police stopped him, they allegedly found drug paraphernalia and amphetamines.
The man is due to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on May 6.
