Police van hit by brawlers

A POLICE van has been damaged during a wild brawl following a teenage party in the same street as a Victorian police station.

It is believed a 17th birthday party had been held at a church hall in Langhorne St, Dandenong and numerous fights broke out when it finished about midnight.

Police say the divisional van was damaged during the fracas. The Dandenong Police Station is also in Langhorne St. Four men were arrested at the scene. The Dog Squad, Airwing and Port units all supported local police.
