THE GUEST THAT MADE A SPLASH

AMONG the crush of excited patrons flocking to Nineteen at The Star for the first birthday fun we asked Jackie and Billy Cross for their favourite moment over the year. Jackie: “It would have to be the function we hosted for Hi-Smile. It was so glamorous. They had people come in to change the carpet and theme the room to ensure everything was to their liking. Amazing crowd of people and a great night.” Billy: “I had a young woman come up and ask what would happen if she jumped in the pool. I said she would be kicked out. Next thing I know she has taken off all her clothes and jumped in. She still got kicked out but at least she had dry clothes and the cheers of the crowd as she left.”
