Godolphin eye sweep

-

GODOLPHIN’S hopes of continuing their clean sweep of the feature two-year-old races this season rest with Flit in the Group 1 $500,000 Champagne Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on Saturday.

Flit, the only entry from the James Cummings stable, is backing up after finishing fast to just miss running down Anaheed in the Percy Sykes Stakes on Saturday.

Flit is rated at $5.50 by Ladbrokes behind Loving Gaby ($2.80) and Castelvecchio ($3.50).

Cummings is relying on Flit to complete the Sydney juvenile triple crown for Godolphin after he trained Kiamichi to win the Golden Slipper and Microphone to win the ATC Sires Produce Stakes.
