Mixed bag for Easter

-

HAWTHORN have mixed injury news ahead of their AFL Easter Monday blockbuster against Geelong, with Jaeger O’Meara likely to return.

But captain Ben Stratton and fellow defender James Frawley added to the side’s casualty count in Sunday’s loss to St Kilda.

While Stratton could be available to take on the Cats after he was concussed at Marvel Stadium, Frawley suffered a hamstring injury and is probably out for a couple of games.

O’Meara was a late withdrawal from Sunday’s game when he did not recover in time from his sore hip.

The eight-day break ahead of Easter Monday gives the onballer every chance of being available to take on the Cats.

O’Meara’s injury meant the Hawks were without their top four midfielders for the Saints match. Brownlow Medallist Tom Mitchell (broken leg) is out of action for the season.
