OFFSHORE: Quality wahoo and a few Spanish mackerel have been caught off Tweed around Nine Mile. Spaniards also hanging around Palm Beach reef and 24 fathoms east of the Seaway.

RIVERS: Bream and whiting are being taken using fresh worms in the Coomera, Pimpama, Logan, Nerang and Tweed rivers. Stay in close to the rock walls and bridge pylons in the Tweed for mangrove jack. Jewfish are showing up in the Nerang River. BROADWATER: Plenty of snapper, whiting, flathead and squid biting at the moment. Bream and tailor are showing up in the surf, with tailor, queenfish and trevally in numbers at Jumpinpin.
