VIRAT Kohli’s star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore side have created unwanted IPL history by becoming the first side to start a season with eight successive defeats.

Australian quick Jason Behrendorff celebrated his selection in the World Cup squad by dismissing Indian skipper Kohli for eight as RCB went down to a five- wicket loss.

But it was veteran Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga that did the damage with the ball by taking 4-41, including Australian allrounder Marcus Stoinis (0).
