Moving on from Inglis

-

SOUTH Sydney players say Greg Inglis can still remain an NRL asset for them off the field, with the retiring Rabbitohs great to move into a coaching role.

Souths players yesterday tried to move on from the emotion of Inglis’s retirement but said they still believed he would be influential in their bid for a second NRL title in the past five years.

“He’s played so much footy and rep footy. He’s got so much knowledge of the game. He’s play fullback, wing, centre and five-eighth and excelled at every position he has played,” five-eighth Cody Walker said.

Inglis, 32, on Monday bowed out of the game.
