HAHAHAHAHA. Mark Bailey proposes job opportunities aligned with climate change. What as? Tax collectors? Only other jobs would be lying spin doctors. DJB.

Good to see all the petrol stations ready for the Easter ripoff. Nerang Wednesday morning – unleaded already $1.60, 30c up from 2 days ago – if this is not criminal I don’t know what is!

I applaud the recent lady advocating vegetarianism and animal rights. I’m now 71 and have been a vegetarian for over 50 years. All my life I’ve had fun poked at me for being a vegetarian. Most of them are now dead or have bowel cancer. John OBrien.

Yes JW, performance is better than promises, that’s why you should vote Coalition. Rocket

The next generation won’t have to worry about climate change if Labor gets in. They will instead have to worry about paying off the huge debts and high power prices that Labor and Greens will impose on everyone. Redneck

Bravo William Gilbert, a dictator for both State & Federal for sure. Pussy footing governments held to ransom by minorities must cease. Where’s Joh & Russ? Jackster

For a nice change from politics, electric cars & feral vegan hostilities how bout you name your first music cassette. Mine was Brian Cadd’s Parabrahm, bought in a music shop in Goulbourn in the 60s! (Only old people need to reply!) Nig

Ok Sun supporters, word of advice … settle down … you won the first three games last year and look what happened … it’s great to see the young talent come through and great to see Metricon buzzing and people lining up to get in. But, and it’s a big but, you are only setting yourself up for a major disappointment if you all keep carrying on the way you are. Keep improving and hopefully in a couple of years you will have a serious crack at the top 8 but it’s not gonna happen this year. Bob

It’s time we rebuilt new jails on Norfolk Island and sent all our scum criminals for a lengthy holiday overseas. Even Christmas Island would be an ideal place. Time for politicians to develop some vision and start solving this serious problem. Zodiac

Tiger Woods, Cinderalla man!Wow what a comeback.

More garbage from Sydney delivering ice to our Gold Coast. We need a Trump

dingo fence now, to keep NSW garbage in their own corrupt drug state.

Why is it when driving around, the car in front of you is doing something stupid, you give them a little toot and the middle finger comes up? It’s like they have it ready just below the window waiting. Reminds me of the American mailboxes after the postman deliverers mail the hand comes up

To Mr C Gull

did you stop to think the owner of those teeth might have left them deliberately because he was having the same trouble you experienced with the ladies? Tiny.

Who are these “experts” who say tradies (working people) are drinking more? Absolute codswallop, just another swipe at honest people enjoying a beer with their mates. Negative gearing on investment property is just that. Negative for titleholder as most don’t own these properties they are only custodians for the bank. Have 3 sisters with investment properties none look like being owned. When mining projects ceased a lot of these properties decreased in value by 50 per cent. They are trapped with these properties they can’t sell and will never own. Bourkey

With all this talk on EV transport and the technology we have you would think that they could incorporate a solar panel system in the roof. So when you’re car is parked at work etc it is getting a charge from the sun. PK

Our jails aren’t over crowded. Put 4 to a cell. They don’t seem to have this problem with overcrowding overseas. They have real jails. not restricted motels like we have here. Barney

So they’ve already raised a billion dollars to restore Notre Dame Cathedral. Wonderful use of money. The hungry, downtrodden homeless in Paris must be delighted. Bill

Ros Bates, the statement that you made on the news on Tuesday night shows just how out of touch you really are. Saying that alcohol is the main reason for violence at our hospitals is so wrong. Get out and about and do the job you get paid for and you will soon realise that drugs are the real problem. You will be better off concentrating your efforts in getting the judges to start locking up people caught with, selling or using drugs and get them off the streets and away from hospitals. Geoffrey.
