AN EGGSCELLENT DAY AS FAMILY GOES ON THE HUNT

-

IF there’s anything better than one Easter egg hunt – it’s four.

Yesterday, the Taylor children were spoiled for choice after their family pulled out all the stops and set up three hunts at their local park, on the beach and in their home, before joining The Star Gold Coast’s annual egg hunt in Broadbeach.

Father Brett Taylor said Easter and Halloween were the favourite holidays in their Broadbeach Waters household, with Chloe, 5, and Jake, 4, enjoying the egg hunts the most.

“We went this morning to the park for an Easter egg hunt, then the beach,” he said.

“We used the same eggs and had some hidden around the home too. I think they enjoy the hunt more than the eggs.”

Mr Taylor said they had decided to join in the hunt since they were already at The Star for lunch. Star Gold Coast, which has a giant two-metre high Easter egg on display, hosted an egg hunt for kids at The Garden Kitchen and Bar deck and lawn yesterday afternoon.
