Pair climb up crane in CBD

TWO people who scaled a crane at a Melbourne construction site have not been found despite efforts of police and firefighters.

It is believed the duo scaled a crane at the building site on Collins St in the city centre about 7am yesterday, Victoria Police said.

“A search of the building was unable to locate the pair and the investigation remains ongoing into identifying them,” a police spokeswoman said. Trams were stopped between Exhibition and Russell streets in an effort to find the pair.
