A SONGWRITER from the age of seven, Romii doesn’t like any particular musical genre. “It’s a mix of pop, soul and blues,” she explained. “Music is my life. I attended Griffith University Conservatorium of Music when I was 11 and continue to study and learn.” Her big break came when Bryant Siono, J-Lo’s (Jennifer Lopez) musical director, saw her perform and invited her over to Los Angeles to record. “It was an amazing opportunity and while I was a long way out of my comfort zone being away from home, I learnt so much. It really helped me to grow as a writer and performer. My new single You Keep Running Now has just been released and I’ll be touring soon.”
