A date with redemption

-

AFTER not taking to the park in the National Premier League since their 3-1 win over the Western Pride on the first weekend of April, Gold Coast United will be keen to make an Easter Monday statement when they come up against Redlands United tonight.

Eleven rounds into the season, United sit fifth in the NPL standings but their most recent match last week left much to be desired.

Lining up against Brisbane City FC in the FFA Cup, Gold Coast had a disappointing night, conceding a 5-2 loss and leaving the cup on a low.

Brandon Reeves (pictured) should again star up front, with the striker leading all comers with a season-high tally of six goals, while goalkeeper Duro Dragicevic has only conceded 11 goals this season, including three clean sheets.

Kick-off is at 7pm tonight at Coplick Family Sports Park, Tallebudgera.
