ANZAC DAY SPORTS CHALLENGE WHERE:

WHEN: 9am to 10pm COST: $20 per player

TUG-O-WAR, egg and spoon races, and sack races are just some of the fun events you can join in on this Anzac Day.

The Anzac Day Sports Challenge has more than 20 sports for families to play.

You can register as an individual or a team.

The day will start with netball and touch football tournaments, followed by other sports such as cricket.

People can chose to represent either New Zealand or Australia in these games.

Each of the fun activities will be played for a point with the overall aim of the day being to win the ‘Anzac Challenge Cup’ for your country.

As well as sport, the event will feature live music, kids interactive activities and Australian and New Zealand traditional activities. Traditional Kiwi food stalls will be at the event, serving foods cooked from a Hangi.

The day will end with the AFL match between Collingwood and Essendon and NRL game between Warriors and Melbourne Storm being played on the BIG screen.
