UN Ban for conference

A FORMER United Nations secretary-general will deliver the welcoming address at one of the world’s largest sportingrelated conferences.

His Excellency Ban Kimoon, also the former South Korean Foreign Minister, said he was “very pleased” to participate in the SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit, which meets for a week on the Gold Coast to network and discuss matters with experts from across the globe.

The summit will run from May 5 to 10.
