OFF THE RECORD

WHATEVER line he is spinning it must have a magical lure because once again this serial cad has managed to catch another damsel and leave her in distress. Maybe it is an ability to detect what it is they want to hear but this time it is a mother who has up and left her ever-loving husband and children. The time between their first meeting and then the ‘Dear John’ text message to her husband was about a week so the cad obviously works fast. As per his previous behaviour, this relationship has only lasted around three months before his wandering settled on a fresh face. It seems he loves the chase, plays with them for a while before tiring of the game and heading out for a fresh conquest.

One of those infamous influencers may be wondering why she is no longer getting those prized “exclusive” invitations to every opening of a fridge door. It seems one of her bitter rivals has been telling tales to those who handle those invites explaining in details the true extent of her “influence” and letting it be known that most of her followers are bulk bought and of little use to local companies as they mostly reside overseas. It’s a cat eat cat world out there in the heady universe of social media.

To borrow from “Kath and Kim” it’s noice to be noice and us egalitarian Aussies think that applies across the board to one and all. Sadly that golden rule of not being too up yourself has been forgotten by this certain someone who has returned after living in an Asian country for a long time. Her truly awful habit of clicking her fingers at lesser beings when she wants service or attention is causing her friends to cringe in embarrassment. One has had a quiet word about speaking politely when they are out and about but she says it is nothing because they are paid to look after her. She may find that she will be eating and drinking alone unless she straightens up and behaves properly.

This is one way of dealing with money owed. When questioned by a creditor when they could expect the money payable to be returned in full, the answer was simple and direct. In her own sweet time. In short she and the hubby owe money all over town, if you push they will simply bankrupt themselves and you and everyone else will get nothing. On the plus side they will attempt to pay back what they can, when they can, but there are no guarantees when that will happen. Any more questions?
