FISHING

-

OFFSHORE: It’s tough because of wind, so offshore is pretty much a no-go zone, too much swell and wind. Tomorrow is looking better for this.

FRESHWATER: Hinze Dam has been fishing well, early morning and late afternoon. Vibes and spinner baits have been best in the western arm for fish like bass and saratoga.

BROADWATER: The Seaway has been fishing well. You can catch anything from trevally and tailor to flathead and jewfish. Crab Island has nice flathead and whiting and also lots of sand crabs.

ESTUARIES: Nerang River still producing mangrove jack, trevally and whiting. Coomera River is pretty much the same, finding trevally, bream, flathead, mangrove jack and mud crabs. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle.
