BAR STAFF ON BRAND IN BEDROOM

- EMILY HALLORAN emily.halloran@news.com.au

A NEW Gold Coast underwear label plans a novel launch, kitting out staff at a Glitter Strip nightclub in the brand’s barely-there knickers and briefs tomorrow night.

The Bedroom nightclub staff uniform – usually skimpy lingerie – will have a revamp with all bartenders slipping into Zeke Co gear.

Dylan Zeke Roberts, 25, is the man behind the designs and described his men’s briefs and women’s bras and thongs sets as “comfortable everyday sexy underwear”.

He launched Zeke Co in 2017 after he struggled to find the perfect pair for himself.

“I’ve always wanted to start making something in the street wear or gym wear categories but they are really oversaturated,” he said.

“There was nothing else I liked, so I started my own men’s underwear.”

Three new men’s and three women’s designs will launch online at 5pm tomorrow and at a Southport rooftop ahead of the underwear party night. The party starts at The Bedroom Lounge Bar at 8pm. Entry is free before 10pm.
