Woman ‘foiled’ in Byron brawl

A WOMAN has been arrested after police allegedly found white powder in aluminium foil during a brawl at Byron Bay.

Around 2pm on April 17, police were called to the brawl at Browning St, where police noticed a woman acting suspiciously.

It is alleged the woman was holding a piece of aluminium foil with a small amount of cocaine inside.

The woman was arrested and taken to Byron Bay Police Station.

She is due to appear at Byron Bay Local Court on May 9.
