EASTER TRIUMPH FOR RACING DUO

MOTORSPORT has not always been kind to our own Beric Lynton. A massive high-speed crash and a few unlucky second places, but over Easter the wellknown local motoring identity achieved a rare feat. He and his co-driver Tim Leahey managed to win, by a lap if you don’t mind, the Bathurst 6 Hour race in their super quick BMW M3. Beric and his team have started from pole position on three occasions but never won so you can certainly understand the fact that celebrations were loud and long.
