Snowdens in the Zone

MILITARY Zone has emerged as one of Team Snowden’s best chances to continue their outstanding record at the Hawkesbury stand-alone meeting tomorrow.

Trainer Peter Snowden has prepared 11 feature race winners at the NSW provincial stand-alone meeting since it was introduced in 2006. Next best is Gai Waterhouse with six.

Snowden and son Paul have a strong presence in the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas (1400m) with Military Zone ($4.20) and Eawase ($15).

Military Zone is unbeaten in two second-up attempts and leading jockey James McDonald has retained the ride.
