UN is getting a lecture and advice from a 16-year-old Swedish girl about politics and climate change – no surprises there. UN is just a mobile cocktail party, delusional and removed from reality. So they are desperate for an advice from someone sober – even if it is a 16-year-old.

Two news items which appeared in the Bulletin (24/4) illustrate the negative mindset of our current State Government. The items were regarding a request to waive parking fines at GC railway stations where there is inadequate parking and a GC family’s problems associated with a bat colony beside their home. In both cases a reasonable case was made to State Govt. departments for assistance to solve both problems The response from the two relevant Ministers, Mark Bailey and Leeane Enoch, was not to consider the situations and maybe offer a solution but instead immediately blamed the Newman LNP Govt which actually lost power four years ago. What’s wrong with a common sense response in these situations instead of this immature blame shifting?

Hey Diz, regarding $40,000 for a bus shelter. My street had 2 trucks 4 men and 2 stop go working for 2 days, I had to drive around the other way to get out the of my street. When they finished I walked down to have a look what they did. To my surprise all they did is put on a new concrete surround to a drain. A private contractor would have done the work in half a day. So you think the M1 is one of the most dangerous roads on the Gold Coast? The M1 is rated like the German autobahns from Nerang to Beenleigh. Good drivers in powerful cars could quite safely travel at 300km/h on that road. It isn’t the road at all, is it? It’s the boofheafs behind the wheel that are the issue. If you travel the M1 just once, you will see tradies talking and/or texting at 110km/ h, P-platers weaving in and out of the 4 lanes, women putting on their makeup and texting, truckies right up your bum even though you’re doing the speed limit, the list goes on and on and on. seeing the appalling driver behaviour on that road, I never cease to wonder how there isn’t a crash every 5 minutes. And you rarely see a cop so it’s open slather. Don

Let me enlighten you, the Fraser dingoes are Australia’s most dangerous with only 1 attack on the Chamberlain baby years ago, thousands of people camp out west and the outback dingoes stay away from their campsites because they are frightened of humans, where Fraser dingoes have that killer instinct and need to be wiped out to make Fraser a safe holiday place.
