Field goal gets Storm home
A LATE Brodie Croft field goal has handed the Storm a remarkable come-from-behind victory over New Zealand in a thrilling Anzac Day clash.
Melbourne trailed 12-10 in the arm wrestle at AAMI Park with five minutes to go before a Warriors ruck infringement – and subsequent Cameron Munster penalty goal – levmarched down the field to give Croft a shot from more than 30m out in the 77th minute.
His attempt bounced off the woodwork before dropping over to claim a 13-12 win and extend the Storm’s season record to 6-1.
The Warriors, meanwhile, slump to 2-5 after a match they led 8-4 at the break.
