Jindalee’s women cop flogging in Robina trip

A POLE dancer and a police officer combined at Scottsdale Reserve to help their Robina women’s side to an emphatic 20-point victory over Jindalee on Saturday.

Lisa Dellar put her acrobatic skills to good use in the midfield to be judged best afield, working with Cushla Maker, who dominated the ruck, in the 8.3 (51) to 4.7 (31) result for Round 3 of QFAW Division 1.

Prolific forward Roslyn Manns bagged four majors to take her season tally to 10 and remain leading goal scorer.

The club’s youngest team continued its barnstormi­ng run at the premiershi­p in QFA Colts White, with a Round 3 defeat of Coomera 10.7 (67) to 7.7 (49).

Captain Ethan Holahan was best on ground at the Roo Pen as his side collected its third win from as many games.

In Round 5 of QFA Division 2, Robina collected a double at Nielsens Road Oval, downing Carrara 11.12 (78) to 12.11 (83) in the seniors, and 10.4 (64) to 9.14 (68) in the reserves.

The club’s second women’s team fell at home to Alexandra Hills in Round 4 of QFAW Division 2 South, 2.3 (15) to 9.5 (59).
