Bachelorette holds Coast auditions
ARE you a lad lonesome in love on the Gold Coast?
This could be your lucky day – Channel 10 is currently taking applications to find a perfect match for Bachelorette Angie Kent, and for the first time producers will be hosting auditions on the Gold Coast.
But you’ll have to get your romantic resumes in quick – the casting directors will be here later this week.
Speaking to the Bulletin yesterday, The Bachelorette host Osher Gunsberg (pictured) offered some sage advice to potential suitors: if you’re looking to impress the TV team, the apathetic need not apply.
“Don’t show up if you’re not really considering being in a relationship,” Mr Gunsberg said.
“As long as you’re there to fall in love, and be in love hopefully for the rest of your life, no matter what happens, you’ll come out OK.”
Mr Gunsberg said male contestants were regularly surprised by what they learned about themselves once appearing on the show, a process he enjoyed seeing unfold.
If you’re a single man aged 23 to 40, head to tenplay.com.au/thebachelorette to apply.
Filming will commence in June and may take up to 12 weeks.
