Sentenced to death

A 36-YEAR-OLD stepmother has been sentenced to die by lethal injection for starving her 10-year-old stepdaughter to death and then burning her body with the child’s father in the township of Gwinnett, Georgia.

Tiffany Moss showed no emotion as the jury delivered the sentence for the 2013 death of her stepdaughter, Emani.

The girl weighed just 14 kilograms when she died. Moss and the girl’s father, Eman Moss, stuffed the girl’s body into a rubbish bin and set it alight in front of their two other children.
