Injury ends Millman bid

AUSTRALIAN John Millman was forced to retire from the Estoril Open midway through his second round clash with Joao Domingues.

The world No.50, who beat Bernard Tomic in the opening round on Tuesday, had lost the first set 6-3 and trailed 2-1 in the second when he pulled the pin due to an unspecified injury.

Local favourite Domingues, who is ranked 214 in the world, also beat Australian No.1 Alex de Minaur in the opening round.
