I agree with the excellent text from Mike about the need for more disabled parking spaces to be made available closer to the entry point of shopping centres. I too think the pram spaces could be moved back from the entrances to make more space available for the elderly and the disabled. The money spent in per visit from mums and dads with kids and prams is much higher than the money spent per visit by the elderly and disabled. Just wondering, is that why more parking spaces are not allocated for the elderly or disabled? Republican Rob, Burleigh Heads

Agree with DJ Fraser on this occasion. Splinter parties at either end of the political spectrum continually promise far more than they will ever have to deliver simply because they will never get enough support to form government. They can however gain significant influence over major parties in a balance of power role. Our democracy would be better without them.

Re: Mike (GCB 2/5) Pram parking is so parents can get their children who are not only in the pram but young siblings walking beside the pram into the centre safely, while not having to worry about avoiding cars pulling in, reversing and driving up and down looking for a park, the same way a disabled permit holder does not have to worry. Woman took a photo of a man inside a supermarket and he asked her to delete it, she refused, he said I’ll call police to report an assault, so she actually called triple-0 to report him for threatening her.
